- To facilitate exchange of information and ideas among the partners in travel trade

- To secure positive projection of Bangladesh through travel writers from abroad

 

Scope of outbound Tourism
 

Bangladesh is a growing market for leisure and business travel. In the year 2006-2007 a total of approximately 1.79 million people visited abroad on business, leisure, VFR and it is increasing every year at an encouraging level. The outbound capacity by Air from Dhaka to different destinations have been increased by over 30 per cent during the last fiscal. In Bangladesh more and more people are showing interests visiting abroad on business or leisure trips. People are now looking at new destinations, products and package services. It would be an unique opportunity to showcase products and services at such an exposition in the soil of Bangladesh, which is expected to be visited by thousands of Bangladeshis and expartriates, living in Bangladesh.
